| Gillian - I would like to thank you for taking time to browse through my website, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding my work or commissioning a portrait. I have the happy knack of getting a likeness whether it is an animal, person, house, or vintage car and love to create a painting which tells a story about the subjects involved'. I can arrange to take photographs of your children or pet's (Subject to distance) or I can work from existing good clear photographs if you can provide them. I work from different photographs and use various aspects from each to create your perfect painting, First I will create a drawing of the subject to ensure that you are happy, once you have approved the drawing I then start to paint the portrait. This way the client gets an accurate life-like portrait. Likeness guaranteed!

| Gillian - Early in my career I painted wildlife, but once you've painted several mice and smaller wildlife there isn't much of a challenge to capturing their character anymore. So I progressed to children and family pets. Gillian offers children and animal portraits with a realistic background that is often overlooked. | |
| Gillian's home studio is just outside Chichester in West Sussex. | |
| A tight brief and she'll be happy. "I enjoy being told what's wanted, I really do enjoy meeting people to discuss their portrait requirements". Gillian gets a huge buzz from her clients when she sees their reaction when they first see her creation in real life. |

| She says. "I'm not one of those artists who always wants to do their own thing. I enjoy meeting people and supplying what they want." Gillian wins brownie points when she reveals that she has a Springer spaniel and is partial to the breed.' | |
